In the midst of the famous snow belt of northern Pennsylvania, Denton Hill State Park offers great downhill skiing. Easy access from PA 6, diverse facilities including rental cabins and groomed slopes will appeal to expert and beginner skiers.

Recreation

Downhill Skiing:

Ski Denton has 23 trails, including one of the steepest slopes in the northeast. www.skidenton.com

Cross-country Skiing: 8 miles of groomed trails are at Ski Denton. www.skidenton.com

Archery Events:

Denton Hill hosts two major archery events. The Eastern Traditional Archery Rendezvous is in late July and is one of the largest archery events in the Eastern United States. The Potter County Bowhunters Festival is in mid-August. www.archeryfestivals.com

5 modern cabins are open year-round and accommodate 6 people.
